Land conservancy presentation
If you have a desire to protect your land you need to carefully consider the special features of your property, your land conservation goals, your family's needs and your financial situation.
Conservation and agricultural easements offer the possibilities of * retaining ownership and use of your land * protecting it for future generations * realizing tax benefits
Western Reserve Land Conservancy (WRLC) and the American Farmland Trust will present a joint program on THURSDAY, APRIL 12 at 7:00 P.M. at the Rochester Rod & Gun Club (Eagle St. in Rochester Village). The 90-minute program will feature two speakers and a question & answer period. Andy McDowell, Field Director for the WRLC Firelands Office, will present information about the conservancy, conservation/agricultural easements, and related tax benefits (including income, property and estate taxes). Brian Williams, Ohio State Director for the American Farmland Trust, will discuss state and national programs for farmland protection.
